Abstract

Security issues are the most important aspect in the world of information technology, for example: data security text messages. The issue of security and the confidentiality of text messages is very important in an organization and personally. Steganography requires two properties, the container media and a secret message. Commonly used container media is image, sound, video, or text. Message hidden can be an article, image, program code, or other message. In the development of steganography there are two important algorithm that is to do Embedding and another one to do extracting. The embedding process is the process of inserting a secret message into a cover work in the form of image, video, audio or text files as a medium for inserting a message. The One Time Pad password is a perfect Secrecy password that produces a passcode that does not have statistical relationship to plaintext so that statistical analysis can not be performed. Lock Passwords On One Time Pad are generated randomly and lock rows are used only once. In this thesis report described the basic technique of Least Significant Bit Steganography (LSB), to secure text message data with Algorithm method One time Pad (OTP) which is implemented on text message data.
