PERANCANGAN TEKS BERJALAN BERBASIS SMS SEBAGAI MEDIA INFORMASI NELAYAN DI DESA BAGAN DELI BELAWAN

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sebuah teks berjalan berbasis SMS menggunakan mikrokontroler ATMEGA 32 serta untuk mengetahui jumlah karakter teks berjalan yang dapat disimpan oleh mikrokontroler ATMEGA 32. Hasil  dari penelitian ini  nantinya diharapkan  dapat   membantu nelayan di Desa Bagan Deli Belawan dalam memberikan informasi mengenai kondisi cuaca di sekitar perairan laut Jawa sebelum nelayan pergi melaut.  Dalam penelitian ini metode yang  digunakan aplikasi dengan demonstrasi. Dari hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan diketahui  rangkaian teks berjalan yang dirancang telah berfungsi  dengan baik, waktu  yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan perubahaan informasi hingga 250 karakter  hanya membutuhkan waktu ± 10  detik.  Dan jumlah  karakter  yang dapat disimpan mikrokontroler ATMEGA 32 sebanyak   850  karakter.
