Sistem Pendukung Pengambilan Keputusan Sebagai Alternatif Dalam Pemilihan Jurusan Di SMA Menggunakan Metode Composite Performance Index (CPI)

High School (SMA) Negeri 1 Binjai is one of the schools in Binjai that has 3 majors, namely Science, Social Sciences and BI. Admission of new students the school wants to use an online system that has a special test after the announcement that the student is accepted. Due to the difficulty and the many stages in processing the incoming data, the information displayed is less accurate, less effective and even invalid. So that the policy in determining the majors is only used as a formality and ranks student data based on the best majors in the school. A computerized decision support system is needed that can help students and the school in making decisions about choosing the right majors and can be used to see students' interests and abilities so that mismatches and indecision in choosing majors can be reduced by designing a Decision Support System . ). The Composite Performance Index (CPI) method is one method that can be used and chosen because it is able to show the ranking between alternatives by comparing with other alternatives so as to get ideal results. So the system can help students and teachers in choosing majors for students.References
