ANALISA PERBANDINGAN METODE VAM DAN MODI DALAM PENGIRIMAN BARANG PADA PT. MITRA MAYA INDONESIA
Abstract
Untuk mengoptimalkan jalur dan meminimalkan biaya distribusi, perlu diterapkan suatu model kebijakan pengiriman, yaitu dengan optimalisasi jalur pendistribusian barang sehingga dapat memaksimalkan jumlah lot yang dapat diangkut. Optimalisasi distribusi itu dapat dicapai ketika sebuah perusahaan dapat mengirimkan produk dalam kapasitas besar, dengan biaya yang lebih sedikit. Dengan demikian, besarnya biaya transportasi dari solusi akhir yang telah didapatkan adalah 237.060. Jadi, total biaya transportasi untuk mendistribusikan produk dengan menerapkan metode VAM sebesar 209.940 sedangkan dengan menggunakan metode MODI sebesar 237.060, maka solusi optimal dalam distribusi ini lebih optimal dengan menggunakan metode VAM dengan selisih perbandingan sebesar 28.000.Downloads
