Abstract

Dengan melakukan kompresi, data yang besar akan berkurang ukurannya sehingga dapat menghemat ruang penyimpanan. Dalam penelitian ini, algoritma yang digunakan adalah Stout codes, dengan menggunakan algoritma tersebut, hasil kompresi dari nilai k mempunyai hasil yang berbeda-beda dari setiap nilai nya, dan hasil kompresi akan menguntungan  dalam melakukan pengiriman, dan pemindahan  file teks akan semakin mudah.
