Abstract

The purpose of sales is to find, influence and provide guidance to buyers so that they can match their needs with the product being offered and enter into an agreement regarding a price that is mutually beneficial for both parties. Entering into business is constantly changing very quickly, especially with the same business and increasingly fierce competition, companies are required to be able to analyze the business environment and predict various possibilities that will occur in the future. This method contains information or sources that companies can use to prepare themselves to determine better future strategies. Of course, sales predictions are less accurate, resulting in production costs increasing, the overall investment being less efficient. Predictions are carried out with the aim of knowing future sales estimates, to meet consumer needs. The least squares method measures current sales to analyze current and previous conditions as a source of information to predict future conditions with the assumption that past conditions will repeat themselves in the future. The use of the least squares method is very determined, namely the accuracy and quality of the information or data obtained as well as the period or time during which the data was collected, namely sales
