Analisis Usability CamScanner Menggunakan Metode Technologi Acceptance Model

Abstract

The CamScanner application is one of the trending smartphone apps today. It provides features that help users scan physical documents into digital files, edit them, and more. According to data from the Play Store, CamScanner has been downloaded by over 100 users, with a rating of 4.7 and 4 million reviews. This reflects its popularity and user satisfaction. Despite its high popularity until the end of March 2024, there has been no research conducted on its usability. Therefore, we will conduct a usability analysis research on the CamScanner app using the TAM method. Our aim is to provide valuable guidance for app developers to enhance user experience and app acceptance. Data from 50 respondents who completed a Likert-scale questionnaire show that 90% of users find the app easy to use, 92% find it very helpful and useful, 90% have a positive attitude towards the app, and 83% intend to continue using CamScanner. Validity and reliability tests indicate that all indicators are valid and reliable. These findings demonstrate that CamScanner has high usability, is well-received by users, and meets expectations in terms of ease of use and usefulness.
