Abstract

Urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection that occurs in the urinary system, which includes the kidneys, ureters (the tube that connects the kidneys to the bladder). Patients with urinary tract disease will be treated by a urologist. Urology experts will diagnose the disease from the symptoms felt by the patient quickly and precisely. However, the problem that often occurs is that experts use less efficient time to serve a large number of patients for consultations, making it difficult to handle patient problems in an efficient manner. So we need an application that can help, namely an expert system. An expert system is a computer program that contains knowledge from one or more human experts regarding a specific field. Expert systems can solve problems according to the knowledge of an expert who is included in the system. Expert systems in general are often used to carry out activities to diagnose a problem that can only be solved by an expert. Fuzzy Sugeno is a method that can be used to obtain the results of a diagnosis in an expert system. The stages of the Sugeno fuzzy method are the formation of fuzzy sets applying implication functions (rules). Rule composition is obtained from a collection
