Abstract


Sales is an activity that needs attention in the company, because the end of a production is the sale of goods. The availability of stock items depends on the sales results, the higher the sales, the greater the profit the company gets. However, not all companies can run smoothly and stably. Sometimes companies experience profits and sometimes they also experience losses because they get small profits or don't make any profits at all. There are many factors that cause this to happen, for example business competition between companies, product marketing, quality and fluctuations in product prices that affect sales competitiveness. One way to overcome the problem of maintaining stable sales at the company is by using data mining to help solve production problems. Data mining is a series of processes to explore additional value in the form of unexplored information from a database, explore in certain ways to manipulate data into more valuable information by extracting and recognizing important patterns from the database. By using the Multiple Linear Regression Algorithm, you can predict or predict future events using previous data. Predictions are very profitable for the company so that stock stability is maintained to meet selling products that are selling well and are not selling well in the market. So using this linear regression algorithm can predict the difficulty in estimating the amount of profit and loss in each sale
