Abstract

Social assistance is assistance in the form of money, goods, or services to a person, family, group or community that is poor, underprivileged, and/or vulnerable to social risks. Social risks are events or occurrences that can give rise to the potential for social vulnerability, if social assistance is not provided, they will become worse and unable to live in normal conditions. This social assistance is provided within the framework of a poverty reduction program which includes social protection, social security, social empowerment, social rehabilitation and basic services. The solution to the problem above is to build a Decision Support System to assist in determining recipients of direct cash social assistance (BLT) at the Banjar Lancat Village Office. The method chosen to support solving the problem above is the Waspas and Roc methods, namely by giving weight to each available alternative option. This research produces a Decision Support System that can recommend providing direct cash social assistance (BLT) to the Banjar Lancat village office using the Waspas and Roc methods. A trial was carried out by entering a data sample of 10 potential recipients of direct cash social assistance. With the Decision Support System, it can provide recommendations for determining recipients of direct cash social assistance (BLT) based on ranking, from 10 potential participants receiving direct cash social assistance (BLT) based on the largest ranking, namely: Alternative 7 (Suratno) with a value of 0.811, Alternative 5 ( Nando Sitorus) with a value of 0.806, alternative 10 (Sinta Ningsih) with a value of 0.790, Alternative 1 (Sri Rahayu) with a value of 0.775 and Alternative 8 (Sugianto) with a value of 0.765.
