Pelatihan Guru Sekolah Minggu Dalam Pengembangan Media pembelajaran Interaktif di Gereja Siloam Injili Medan

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru Sekolah Minggu dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif di Gereja Siloam Injili Medan. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasarkan pada masih terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang variatif dalam proses pembelajaran Sekolah Minggu, yang cenderung dilakukan secara konvensional melalui metode ceramah dan bercerita. Kondisi ini berdampak pada rendahnya keterlibatan aktif anak dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif menjadi langkah strategis untuk mendukung terciptanya pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, partisipatif, dan bermakna. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan, praktik langsung, dan pendampingan. Guru Sekolah Minggu dilatih dalam merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis visual dan digital sederhana yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik. Selain itu, peserta juga diberikan pemahaman tentang prinsip penggunaan media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mendukung penyampaian nilai-nilai spiritual dan karakter anak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif. Guru mampu menghasilkan berbagai bentuk media sederhana seperti presentasi visual, alat peraga kreatif, dan media digital interaktif yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan motivasi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pelatihan ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Sekolah Minggu melalui pemanfaatan media interaktif. Implementasi berkelanjutan dari hasil pelatihan diharapkan mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan mendukung pembentukan karakter serta pemahaman nilai-nilai spiritual anak.
