Sistem Monitoring Lokasi dan Perilaku Ternak Berbasis IoT Menggunakan GPS, LoRa, dan MPU6050

Pemantauan ternak secara manual masih menghadapi kendala dalam pengawasan lokasi dan aktivitas ternak secara berkelanjutan, terutama pada peternakan dengan area penggembalaan yang luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem monitoring lokasi dan perilaku ternak sapi berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan GPS, LoRa, geofencing, dan sensor MPU6050 yang terintegrasi dengan aplikasi mobile. Sistem menggunakan ESP32 sebagai mikrokontroler, GPS Neo-6M untuk memperoleh koordinat lokasi, MPU6050 untuk mengidentifikasi perilaku sapi, serta LoRa SX1278 sebagai media komunikasi antara perangkat ternak dan gateway. Identifikasi perilaku dilakukan menggunakan metode threshold berdasarkan nilai percepatan pada sumbu Y dan Z dengan tiga klasifikasi, yaitu menunduk, berdiri, dan berjalan. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap identifikasi perilaku, geofencing, dan komunikasi LoRa. Hasil pengujian identifikasi perilaku menunjukkan 72 dari 96 data sesuai dengan kondisi aktual, dengan akurasi sebesar 75% dan tingkat kesalahan sebesar 25%. Kesalahan terutama terjadi pada perilaku menunduk yang teridentifikasi sebagai berjalan atau berdiri. Pengujian geofencing terhadap 31 titik pengamatan menghasilkan 24 data sesuai dengan kondisi aktual, dengan akurasi sebesar 77,42% dan tingkat kesalahan sebesar 22,58%. Pengujian komunikasi LoRa memperoleh nilai RSSI sebesar 76 dBm pada jarak 10 meter, 88 dBm pada 100 meter, dan 102 dBm pada 250 meter, sedangkan pada jarak 1 kilometer data tidak berhasil diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat mengintegrasikan pemantauan lokasi, status geofencing, dan identifikasi perilaku ternak melalui aplikasi mobile
